This seat was hand-tooled to perfection. The center section was debossed and raised with a stringray texture background and then hand braided with 1/4 lace. Many of the visitors at Las Vegas bikefest were so amazed and couldn't believe it wasn't real stringray and asked how it was done.
This seat took 30 hour of tooling and background texturing and another 9 hour of hand braiding.

All of my custom hand tooled seats start with the best U.S. tanned leather available. At 5/6 oz. thick which is about 1/8 inch, it tools very well with great definition and detail. Combine this with the painstaking time in hand fitting and wet moulding for a perfect fit and the lost secrets of Oil's,Balm's, Natural dye's and sealers. You will have a seat that will last for years with the proper care.
